Chambor Moisture Plus Lipstick- 383 Hit or miss???

Hey dearie,

We, the lipstick lovers have got a lipstick for every mood of ours. One right lipstick can make you feel like queen of the fashion world.!!! I have plenty of pink, red shades in my lipstick collection.Today, I have picked this beautiful pinkish red shade cutie for the review. (We girls are typical when it comes to differentiating the color shades)

Sometime back, one of my friends had loved the chambor liquid lipstick on me. She wanted to buy one from same brand. Since she is not so much into make up and stuff, she wasn’t sure whether she will be able to carry the lipstick. So, I asked her to go for neutral or natural shade to start with. When we had been to store to shop a lipstick for her, she ended up buying this beautiful shade. I loved the shade and the mild glossy effect it gave to her lips. Let me tell you a secret. When it comes to shopping, I believe in one rule, “If you can’t stop thinking about it, go and buy it…!!!” Yes I am a shopaholic and I am really crazy for lipsticks. So, the very next day, I bought same one for myself. Read on to know whether it made me a happy shopper or no…!!!

This beautiful lipstick is from one of my favorite brand, ‘Chambor’. The range name is “Moisture Plus”. The shade I have picked is 383. As the name suggests, it is a very moisturizing lipstick range. There are total 20 shades available in the range. Lipsticks with so many shades makes me a happy girl. Sooo many options to choose from.!!!

So, shall we start with the review… *smile*

What it claims:
An innovative dual action formula with a nourishing core to hydrate lips and prevent dryness, surrounded by a soft, ultra-moist color for a smooth radiant finish.

Shade – 383

Price: 745 INR for 4.5g

Shelf life: 3 years

First thing first, the packing. It comes in typical lipstick bullet packing. The plastic used is sturdy hence no worries of breakage.

This is tiny and it is travel friendly.

The shade is soft red with a pink undertone. It looks natural on your lips. This shade can be carried by everyone.

The texture is soft like butter. It glides like a magic on your lips. Lipstick has two layers. Inner one is the moisturizer and the outer is the pigmented creamy lipstick. It does not highlight the fine lines on lips.

Color pay off is good. You need couple of swipes to get the proper shade on your lips.

Staying power is good too. Tint stays for 4-5 hours with food. But glossy finish fades away as and when you eat or drink.

The very best part I loved about this cutie is the moisture it provides for my lips. Yes it sticks to what it claims. It does give moisture to lips. As I had mentioned in my earlier posts, my lips are usually dry. All thanks to the AC environment in which I work. *sob* I usually apply lip balm prior to lipstick application. When I use this one, I don’t feel the need of lip balm at all. This lipstick is enough to keep my lips hydrated for long time. I feel it serves as a pigmented lip balm more, than a lipstick.

It gives a soft moisturizing finish. A slide moist twinkle it gives, had made me buy this one.

Overall I am so glad I picked up this lovely shade from this amazing range.

Let me some up by listing my likes and dislikes about this lipstick.

What I liked about Chambor moisture plus lipstick:
1. Very moisturizing.
2. Stays for 4-5 hours with food.
3. Texture is buttery soft.
4. Good color pay off.
5. Travel friendly.

My rating for Chambor moisture plus lipstick: 5/5

If you have dry lips like me and looking for a good moisturizing lipstick, your search ends here…!!! *happy tears*

Hope you find this useful for your next lipstick shopping…!!!
