Hey Beautiful,

Today’s post is to make you more beautiful ; that too by using something from your kitchen, you think is useless.

Yes, I am talking about beauty benefits of soured milk….!!! Milk is something which needs to handled in certain way. If there is slight sour thing gets mixed with it or if there is any  increase in temperature, milk gets spoiled. It becomes sour. With sad face, we will have to dump it.

After reading this post, I am sure you won’t dump the soured milk without getting its beauty benefits. Read on to know what actually this spoiled liquid can do to you.

Facial

Soured milk contains enzymes and probiotics which pasteurized milk does not. These enzymes and probitics make this ideal for beauty usage.

This facial is particularly called as Lactic Acid Facial. You know milk contains lactic acid. It is said to be best to lighten skin tone. Just like curd,  rubbing the face with soured milk will make skin smooth and firm. Also helps in lightening skin tone by removing tan.

Bath

You can add soured milk to your bath water. If the smell is strong, mix some essential oils. Using soured milk to bath, makes skin smoother and healthier.

Dry Skin

Rubbing or applying soured milk on dry skin helps in healing it by providing moisture.

Strawberry-and-Milk-face-Pack

Face pack

This face pack is a bliss for those who have extreme dry skin.

Mix a spoon of sour milk, 1 banana and 1 spoon of honey.  Apply this on dry skin for 5-10 minutes. It will add moisture and leaves skin plump and soft.

For Rashes / Infection

Sour milk is proven to be having soothing properties. If applied on infected or irritated skin, will helps in healing it.

Pedicure

Pedicure

Dipping those dry / cracked feet in a tub full of soured milk and water mixture will add moisture and thus healing the cracks. Making your feet happy.

PS: If the milk is ultra pasteurized, it will stink. Because it doesn’t contains the bacteria and enzymes which are required for the above mentioned uses. Hence do not use it.

So the next time when the milk gets sour, instead of throwing it away make the most out of it. (I mean by making best beauty uses apart from preparing cheese out of it. #wink)
