Which is Your Foot Cream This Winter??? Here is Mine

Winter is here…!!! My most favorite season of all. I love sleeping inside cozy blankets while it’s chilling outside.

As much as I love winter I hate the way it treats my skin. It’s the season of dull, dry and flaky skin if you don’t take a proper care of it.

In order to keep our skin care army well equipped, I’m gonna wrote a series of posts about winter Care.

Most exposed body parts like face, hands and feet need more care in this season. You can find the hand creams which I recommend here.

I will soon come up with the best face creams for you. To start with let me start with the foot cream which has worked best on my dry feet.

Before I start with the review, some of my friends asked whether the body shop has sponsored the products. No its not sponsored…!!! It’s all the end result of my Shopping… !! Well, I wish I could get their products for free. But, only those which had worked for me. There are some products which didn’t do anything but broke my skin badly. So even if I get it for free I’m not gonna take that. #never

So let me tell you one thing – my skin is normal to dry. My feet are the first victim of winter cold. They get super dry, like a drought land. Trust me. My heels gets cracked… But not like a worsened cracked heels huun… I do take care of it that my feet doesn’t look disgusting. Never.

For dry feet, an average foot cream is of no help. Need a super moisturizing cream. Since the skin covering feet is thick it needs heavy cream.

A couple of months back I had been to The body shop. In order to accumulate points, I had to pick some extra product. #confessionofashopaholic

I ended up picking this product. A random product. I always swear to use a foot cream daily but I stop using after couple of days. But, winter…!!! I have to have to use one.

Since I had tried this before for couple of days, I picked this up for this winter.

Read on to know about the product and about my likes and dislikes about this pick.

Packing –

This comes in a tub packing. #Unhygienic as I have to use my fingers every time to take the product.

Tub or the sterdy box is of light green shade with cap in black shade.

It looks something like this.

Fragrance –

It has a very strong smell of herbs. Because of the empowering smell, I had stopped using it at first. Now that I have to use, I apply it on my feet and immediately wash my hands.

Texture –

The light green shaded cream is very thick in texture. But it doesn’t feel Oily or sticky when applied.

Did it work??

I have been using this since last one week. Post shower in the morning and before hitting bed in night. I must say, it’s so moisturizing that it did helped my feet recover right from day 1. My skin on feet looks like a grandmother’s feet due to cold weather. But applying this has helped my skin moisturized and looks smooth.

I have been using this on my cracked heels. It is helping to cure them too. But it is taking some time to heal the heels.

What I like –

  • Does what it claims, of protecting feet. It did help in making my feet smoother
  • It helped in curing cracked heels.
  • Availability
  • Little goes long way. This tub will be sufficient for me to survive this winter.

What I don’t like –

  • Tub packing is unhygienic.
  • Strong smell.
  • Ingredients not mentioned.
  • Pricey.

Will I repurchase???

Yes. My dry feet will thank me for this.

Will I recommend???

If you have extremely dry feet like mine, do give it a try. I’m sure you will be happy with your purchase.
