Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Lip Balm Reviewed
If you have checked my post about the latest lip scrub, you know how bad the condition of my lips were last week.
Like most of the girls, chocolates are my first love too…!!! When I am having bad day, I make sure I end it on a good, umm rather a sweet note by indulging in some yummy chocolates…!!!
When I love chocolates so much, I obviously try to find beauty product which do have essence of coca or chocolates in it.
Palmer’s coca butter formula has been one of my favorites, as their products have this amazing fragrance of cocoa and they are super moisturizing. So with that past experience with some of the products I have used from the range, I bought their lip balm. Read on to know whether you should try it out or not.

Firstly, tube packing thumbs up. Hygienic as compared to tub packing.
Unlike most of the lip balms, this isn’t a normal bullet packing. This is a oval shaped bullet. At first you might feel it uncomfortable to apply as we are used to normal round shaped bullet packed lip balms. But once you get used to, this is in fact the easier way of application.
The bullet is white in color. The tiny sturdy plastic pack makes it a comfy travel buddy.
This flavor is a maroon tinted lip balm. It does adds a faint maroon color to your lips when applied.
This is the best part. It has a mild fragrance of chocolate. Even though the name says its dark chocolate and cherry, the lip balm smells more like a rich milky chocolates. The fragrance is heavenly.
PS: The fragrance is not over empowering. You can smell it while applying but it fades fast. So, if you are sensitive for the smell, you don’t have to worry. If you are a chocolate lover like me, you are gonna enjoy the fragrance.
It is super creamy. I have used many other lip balms but this one glides like a dream.
It is moisturizing???
Does this heals chapped lips???
As you know, I had a very chapped and dry lips last week. This lip balm also played a good role in healing it. I would say yes it does helps in healing dry lips.
It has vitamin E in it. Which is used for healing of damaged tissues. I think it does spells its magic on chapped lips to heal them quickly.
Is it ideal for day time use???
Yes. Since it has SPF 15 in it, this makes ideal for day time use.
Will I repurchase???
Yes. It does what it claims and plus the price is much cheaper than many of the lip balms in the market.
Will I recommend???
Yes to all the girls who are suffering with dry lips this winter + the girls who love chocolates.
