OOTD | How to Style A Black Crop Top In 5 Different Ways

Hi Girlies,

Dressing up or looking all dolled up makes me feel good. It makes me happy. That is why dress up game is my favourite. Yours?

So, I have made this post to show you a glimpse of dress up game I played today. ☺️

I styled this full sleeves crop top in five different ways. Colour of the top? You know how much I love the colour black. If you hadn’t, well, you know now. 😉

I bought this crop top from Myntra.  Some bottoms are bought from online store and some offline. Hehe.

Let’s get started with the looks.!

  •  Boy friend jeans:

These are oversized jeans. I must say, they are too comfortable. I love wearing them especially on those days when I am feeling lazy to dress up but still want to look good. Haha we all have such days once in a while. True?

I usually keep accessories minimal or no accessory for such looks.

  • Palazzo:

I know I talk about this piece of cloth in most of my outfit posts. I just can’t help it. They are so comfortable and stylish that I love them a lot.

I had created a similar look with the same palazzo but a long top. Do you remember that post?

Well, this is a look inspired by that one. But crop top looks more cooler. Know?

I wore these big white earrings to add more girly touch. 😌

I know this palazzo looks like a long skirt. Here is a pose to prove that it’s not a skirt. 😁

  • Monochrome:

Styling with single coloured outfit makes it a monochrome look.

Paired the same top with my favourite pair of black, stretchable, high waisted jeans.

Wore hoop earrings and kept the neck minimal. I personally like skipping neck accessory whenever I am wearing boat neck tops. Minimal the better for such pattern.

Also, included this silver, multilayered waist chain to add a pinch of spark to this monochrome look.

  • Skirt:

A favourite and comfortable piece of fabric loved by many – skirt.

Wore this striped pencil skirt along with the black crop top.

Chick look, perfect for brunch dates.

  • A touch of ethnicity:

Tried something new. Styled the same top with palazzo and twist to the look is the dupatta.!!

Draped the dupatta around to get a look of half sari. Added nice silver earrings and finger ring to increase ethnic look score. Plus, the bindi 😛

Tried with two different dupattas. I like the red one more. What about you? 😀

So, these are the looks I created with keeping the top as a common piece of fabric across all looks.

I hope you enjoyed the looks as much as I did creating them. 🤗

Essential Accessories For A Prettier You…!!!

Hey pretty,

Are you a lover of accessories like me…???  My love for them is immense…  Be it cute bracelets,  girly finger rings,  elegant neck piece…  I love them all…  They can give  your not so perfect outfit,  a sofesticated look…  Accessories can make your attire look rich.

Below are some of those beautiful accessories that are essential to make you stand out from crowd…  wink

 Dupatta –

A nice dupatta with nice embroidery can make your outfit look richer.  You can flaunt dupatta with your kurtas,  long skirts…  Dupatta will definitely will help you look classy.

Earrings –

A long and grand earrings adds nice elegant touch to your entire look.  This season,  ditch the small cute studs and go for huge one. Pearl ones are my personal favorites.

Jootis –

Don’t we love multipurpose accessories…??? These beautiful footwear can go with your jeans as well as with ethnic wears.  Flaunt these colorful jootis this festival time.

High heels-

If you want to look elegant and tall,  go for high heels.  But I would recommend flats over heels.  Because you might  end up with leg/back pain at the end of your busy day if you go for high heels.

Bangles-

Since my childhood  I am a huge lover of bangles.  I will write a quick post on sneak peek of my bangles collection.  Matching bangles is definitely added points to your entire ethnic look.

Neck piece –

A heavy neck piece is always a best friend of a lazy gal.  It can brighten up a dull outfit.  You just wear a huge elegant neck piece and you are good to go.  You can also see Anushka Sharma flaunting this beautiful neck accessory  in the movie Ae Dil Hai mushkil. I loved it,  did you…???

Bindi –

You believe it or no,  a pretty matching Bindi is a game changer.  It completes the traditional look.  Size of Bindi is totally of your choice.

Finger rings-

I am crazy for finger rings. Choose to flaunt those traditional kind of finger rings.  Keep them minimal.  One or max couple of finger rings should be more than enough to complete the look.

Clutch –

There are plenty of options when it comes to clutches.  You get these pearl embedded clutches which are perfect for festivals.  If you are not a fan of heavy clutch,  go for some neutral colored simple  ones to carry your essentials.

Maang Tikka –

Depending on your comfort and outfit,  you can choose a maang Tikka for that extra ethnic look.  It makes you look graceful.

Choose the above mentioned accessories wisely, as per your outfit and comfort.

Be a style diva always … *wink *
